Description

FCCH seeks caring volunteers to be available to help individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis.  Emergency Housing Authorized Representatives monitor and respond to phone requests from potential clients, assess their eligibility, complete intake process and authorize placement in a local hote.  "ARS" explore callers' related needs and provide appropriate community resource information.

Interested volunteers should be least 21 years old, need to be flexible and able to check voice mail and return calls, for one week every other month.  Volunteers need to be able to scan and email intake forms to FCCH coordinator,

Training is provided by telephone.

Time required is usually about five hours per week.
