FCCH seeks caring volunteers to be available to help individuals and families experiencing a housing crisis. Emergency Housing Volunteers monitor and respond to phone requests from potential clients, assess their situation for eligibility, meet in person to complete intake process and place in hotel, explore their related needs and provide appropriate community resource information.
Interested volunteers should be least 21 years old and have reliable transportation to meet clients at emergency housing locations in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties.
