Who We Are

Faith Community Coalition for the Homeless (FCCH) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization composed of churches, service organizations, and individuals concerned about people experiencing homeless in our area. We are available 24/7 to help people in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties who are homeless, or on the verge of being homeless, when no other options exist.

What We Do

Faith Community Coalition for the Homeless (FCCH), through our partner organizations and volunteers, helps our friends experiencing homelessness in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties by:

  • Providing short-term, warm, safe, dry, emergency shelter when no other options exist;
  • Ensuring they have nourishing food, medical care, transportation, and needed personal items like warm clothes, sleeping bags, and blankets;
  • Connecting persons experiencing homelessness to housing and community services, and to resources to help them with their physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being so they can move toward self-sufficiency; and,
  • Seeking collaborative solutions and improvements to homeless services and housing opportunities.
