Berkeley County Meals on Wheels

Located in the heart of Martinsburg, West Virginia, Berkeley County Meals on Wheels has been in operation since May 1971. With the care and effort of over 200 volunteers offering their time as cooks, food packers, drivers, and administrative help, we are able to deliver hot nutritious meals to the doors of over 250 homebound Berkeley County recipients each day. That adds up to over 1,250 meals prepared and delivered each week! ​ Our organization is driven by our Program Manager, Dianne Waldron, who gives 100% of her heart and soul to the cause, and is backed by a goal-focused 100% volunteer-based Board of Directors. Our amazing kitchen staff makes the task of preparing and cooking all of that food seem easy!

Fueled by a commitment to address senior hunger and isolation, Meals on Wheels provides the basic support that seniors need to maintain their health and independence in virtually every community in America.
