Berkeley County BackPack Program Inc.

The mission of the BackPack Program is to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, such as weekends and school vacations.

The BackPack Program serves 600 children, from 25 schools in Berkeley County Public Schools, who face food insecurity on a weekly basis. As these students are at risk of having limited or no food sources on the weekends, holidays and summer breaks, the Program provides food bags to feed them during these periods.
