Who We Are
Panhandle Home Health (PHHI) is a private, non-profit home health agency that is not affiliated with any hospital. PHHI has been serving the home-health-care needs of patients in Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan Counties since 1976.
What We Do
We provide crisis-health services that are medically directed - ordered by a physician - and offered by a team of licensed, skilled professionals including nurses; therapists; medical social services; dietitians; and home health aides.
Our in-home services assist patient, family and caregivers to achieve maximum independence. The idea of home health care is to promote wellness and a return to independence which promotes a sense of well-being. Poverty and unemployment often force patients to do without. PHHI aims to ensure that doesn’t happen to our neighbors. We offer access to needed health care services based on medical need and a physician’s order.
