Volunteer: A Beautiful Garden is a Work of HeartThe flower gardens at Good Shepherd are in need of some tender loving care. We hope to recruit a volunteer(s) that will take on the role of gardener to each of the three beds (take on one bed or two or three). The flower beds are often admired by our seniors as they walk up the handicap ramp to enter the building. Currently they are overgrown with weeds yet there are some beautiful plants and bushes struggling for survival much like our clients who have health problems and struggle in their daily lives to keep a positive outlook. If you can help us temporarily or accept a role as gardener to one of the flower beds, we would be truly grateful for your help. Would love you to get a head start in spring. We can purchase a template or pay a small monthly fee for a service if needed. It's been suggested to me that mail chimp is a viable option but I truly mean that I'm clueless! I would love to have your help! Good Shepherd does so much good in the counties but we need to raise our presence through media. If you are tech savvy and want to take a crack at this then your our person. If you've versed in marketing and digital means you too would be a welcomed edition.
